One Billion organisms per capsule. Futurebiotics uses specially bred strains of dairy‑free bacteria, dried by a unique process in which the delicate cell membranes are elasticized prior to freeze drying. This keeps the cells from bursting or weakening during the drying process. (This weakening is a one of the chief causes  of premature potency loss.)

Normal body temperature alone does not activate properly dried lactobacilli, it is a combination of heat and moisture. This is why we are so careful to formulate our products to exceptionally low moisture standards.
